I'm a dog mom and a boy mom. Our bed almost always has at least one dog and one kid. But despite the stinky butts somehow also ending up towards my face and the getting pushed almost off the edge of the bed, I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world! I bet you wouldn’t either. Besides taking high-quality photos I love anime, and zombies, playing every Zelda that has been released, all things fall, especially haunted houses, and teaching my boys about nature, bugs, and animals.
I began photo-documenting my fur babies as soon as I brought home my firstborn, Goliath. But once I finally purchased my first DSLR camera to capture my two-legged sons I could never go back to cell phone images. Quality became my passion. After my first born, Goliath, began declining rapidly. I realized the majority of his life was captured on a cell phone and very few were print worthy. I rushed to find a photographer. I am so thankful for her and her level head during my that agonizing time and my erratic emotions.
As a family and pet photographer I knew it was easy to get your family's growth and joys documented but when it came time for me to need someone else to document my fur baby I realized how few of us pet photographers there are. So here I am a pet photographer with family and pet experience and the ability to make you and your pup feel confident during our session together! I spent years turning my teeth yellow and dealing with acne, so I know how those can decrease our confidence. And I will not allow that to hold you back! With me you can be assured that your images will be amazing because I will take care of that for you. And yes, I will whiten your pup's teeth too!

Just a GLimpse into my Life
Behind The Camera
We love digging in the dirt, making mud, capturing bugs and camping. I find the forest to be beautiful, calming and relaxing.
From spring through fall you will see dirt embedded under my nails. No matter how hard I try, I just can't get rid of all of it! There is something so satisfying and fulfilling from gardening.
If I am not at a shoot or editing a shoot, I'm in the yard with the kids getting dirty. They love being able to grab strawberries, blueberries, cherry tomato's and more on demand in our yard.
the great outdoors
Our family loves the macabre, including the kids! I was so stoked when my eldest asked to be Chucky for Halloween. As you can see we went all out! I'm trying to have coordinated costumes for as long as the boys will allow it!
Fall is definitely a favorite time of year for all of us. I love the smells in the air, the pumpkins, the corn mazes, and hay rides. And of course the haunted houses!
Who doesn't love zombies? The boys frequently play zombie which is really just tag but a zombie chasing you. And they have tons of fun using zombie apocalypse survival analogies as a way to learn about nature; "Look dandelions! If the zombie apocalypse happens you can eat all parts of that plant!"

My Favorite Things
We had a family photo session with our 4 month old puppy and had an absolute blast! Jen was beyond patient with our pup who would just NOT stay still (the pup was also having a blast, clearly), and spent all the time we needed to get the desired shots. And the photos are absolutely beautiful - we are going to cherish them forever, and we’re thrilled that we got an opportunity to capture our pup as a baby (even though that made Jen’s job harder!)
Fall Puppy Session
Jen has a great eye for capturing just the right shot. She has photographed my husband and I and our cat and dog. She didn't have a bad shot in the bunch. She is super patient, kind and all around great person. I recommend her to everyone I know who is looking for a unique photographer.
